• Puri Lukisan Museum

  The Puri Lukisan Ratna Wartha Museum (Indonesian: Museum Puri Lukisan Ratna Warna; Balinese script: ᬫᬸᬲᬾᬬᬸᬫ᭄ᬧᬸᬭᬶᬮᬸᬓᬶᬲᬦ᭄ᬭᬢ᭄ᬦᬯᬃᬡ) is an art museum in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia, specializing in traditional and modern Balinese painting and wood carving. The museum is located in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Its collection includes Balinese paintings and wood carving from the 1930s onwards. Works in the collection represent the Sanur, Batuan, Ubud, Young Artist and Keliki schools.

• Padangtegal

  Padangtegal is a village in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. It is the home to the Ubud Monkey Forest which contains the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal temple as well as a "Holy Spring" bathing temple and another temple used for cremation ceremonies.

• Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal

  Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal (Balinese script: ᬧᬸᬭᬤᬍᬫ᭄ᬅᬕᬸᬂᬧᬤᬗ᭄ᬢᭂᬕᬮ᭄), or Padangtegal Great Temple of Death, is one of three Hindu temples making up a temple complex located in the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary – commonly called the "Ubud Monkey Forest" – of Padangtegal, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Also called the "Main Temple," Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal lies in the southwestern part of the Ubud Monkey Forest grounds and is used for worshiping the god Hyang Widhi in personification of Shiva, the Recycler or Transformer. Like the other two temples in the complex, it is thought to have been built around 1350. The temple complex plays an important role in the spiritual life of the local community. The area in front of the temple is the home territory of one of the Ubud Monkey Forest's five groups of crab-eating macaques.

• Ubud Monkey Forest

  Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, also known as Ubud Monkey Forest, is a sanctuary located in Padangtegal, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. As of 2023, about 1,260 Balinese long-tailed macaque monkeys lived in the Ubud Monkey Forest. The sanctuary is a popular tourist attraction. It includes numerous species of plants and trees as well as three temples and numerous visitor facilities. The forest lies within the village of Padangtegal and is managed by Mandala Suci Wenara Wana Management.

• Penestanan

  Penestanan is a village just outside the town of Ubud, in Bali, Indonesia. It has been known as an artist's village since the 1930s when Walter Spies lived there. Another notable resident is Arie Smit.
